The ISSO charges a fee to students who apply for post-completion F-1 Optional Practical Training (OPT) or J-1 Academic Training (AT) and will remain in F or J immigration status under our oversight during their authorized period of employment.  The fee is:

• $340 -  for graduating students applying for F-1 OPT.
• $650 -  for alumni who are eligible to apply for a 24-month STEM OPT extension.
• $500 -  for graduating students applying for up to 18 months of post-completion Academic Training authorization.
  • Alumni in J-1 status who are eligible for AT authorization beyond the initial 18 months will need to pay an additional $500 fee for the second 18-month period of AT

Pay only if you are applying for F-1 Post-Completion OPT, STEM Extension, or J-1 Post-completion Academic Training. 

After payment, you will receive an email from Cybersource with your Administration Fee receipt. You will need to upload this receipt when you submit your application in Compass.
